Unique Mixproof Horizontal Tank Valve specially designed for horizontal mounting directly on the tank wall. It improves cleanliness of the horizontal tank connections and ensures that no area of the tank inlet or tank outlet is left uncleaned.
State-of-the-art horizontal mixproof valve
Based on the well proven and exceptionally versatile principle of the Unique Mixproof valves, this horizontal mixproof tank valve features many of the same components, such as the actuator, yoke and seals, and therefore the same spare parts. This provides the benefits of easy serviceability and low total cost of ownership.
Alfa Laval Unique Mixproof Horizontal Tank Valve, can be fitted with any level of sensing and control. It is as standard supplied with seat lift, which enables handling of two different products at the same time, or safe handling of one product while seat-lift cleaning operations are being conducted in the other portion of the valve – all without any risk of cross-contamination. The double tangential design of the valve body ensures full drainability, especially when the valve is mounted at the bottom of a flat-bottomed tank.
Exceptional spillage-free operation
A state-of-the-art double-seat design provides long-lasting, spillage-free operation thus minimizing the risk of product contamination. The use of double lip seals provides added protection to ensure safe and hygienic operation.
Easy valve to maintain and clean
Unique mixproof valves feature a top-loaded design, making maintenance fast and easy. It also features no adjustable components, a maintenance-friendly actuator and built-in leakage detection on all seals. Unique mixproof valves meet most hygienic standards and can be supplied with the optional SpiralClean cleaning system.

Sistema SpiralClean
Para garantizar las condiciones higiénicas de funcionamiento de su gama de válvulas anticonfusión Unique, Alfa Laval ofrece su sistema SpiralClean para limpiar los obturadores equilibrados superior e inferior y la cámara de fugas de las válvulas. Con un menor consumo de líquido de limpieza, servicios públicos y tiempo, SpiralClean limpia de forma más exhaustiva y eficiente que los dispositivos de limpieza convencionales. Todos los sistemas CIP externos para válvulas anticonfusión Unique incluyen de serie el diseño SpiralClean.
Otra gran ventaja: SpiralClean permite que la válvula «mixproof» de Unique funcione en condiciones similares a las asépticas, creando una barrera de vapor frente al ambiente exterior al aplicar vapor a las tuberías del sistema CIP.
Unique Mixproof Válvula para depósito horizontal
La válvula Mixproof HT, única en su género, ofrece una solución de vanguardia cuando no hay presión ni caudal CIP desde el lado del depósito para limpiar el asiento y el obturador. La válvula es autolimpiante gracias a dos boquillas de limpieza in situ (CIP). La primera boquilla está diseñada específicamente para la limpieza del obturador. Esta boquilla de doble acción proyecta la solución de limpieza a través de la conexión del depósito, lo que garantiza una limpieza completa de las superficies de contacto del asiento, así como de la zona oculta de la conexión del depósito.
El segundo es una boquilla CIP giratoria integrada en la unidad para una limpieza óptima de la cámara de fugas de paso total. El diseño del cuerpo de válvula único permite soldarlo directamente al depósito o conectarlo mediante una unión Tri-clamp.
Los modelos de 4” y 6” cuentan con una abertura de 45 mm, lo que permite el paso de partículas muy grandes o el manejo eficaz de fluidos de alta viscosidad.
